What's in the stand?

Unfortunately my picture isn't as clear as I would like, but this was a fun bike to work on. Dave brought in an old KHS Competition that he wanted to change the handlebars on. The goal was to get rid of the drop style bars and come up with something that was a bit more upright. We settled on the Soma "Sparrow" bars, it seems that they are a popular choice for many people...so we had to wait a couple of weeks to get them in stock. The conversion went well, and I was able to continue with the old housing so that everything was orginal and matched. Since this picture was taken, a rear rack has been added as well.

Dave has the right idea in life, enjoy the beautiful state of Maine in the warmer months, log plenty of miles, return to Florida in the colder months and continue to log miles on the bike paths with friends from other parts of the country that share the same idea. Sounds like a wonderful plan to me! Dave; do you or your friends need a mechanic for the winter months?
